Vegan Black Sesame Chocolate Cake with Matcha Cream Cheese Frosting

INGREDIENTS:
*Cake
3 cups of all purpose flour
½ cup of black cocoa powder
1 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of baking soda
½ tsp of salt
1 cup of mashed avocados
½ cup of ground black sesame seeds
2 tsp of vanilla
¼ cup of vegetable oil
1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
2 cups of water
2 cups of sugar
*Frosting
1 cup of vegan butter
1 cup of cream cheese
2 tsp of vanilla
2 tsp of Zen Tea Leaf® Matcha Green Tea Powder
1 pound of powdered sugar
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 °F
*Cake
Whisk in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda & salt. Set aside.
Mix black sesame seeds, vanilla, oil, vinegar, water & mashed avocado.
Mix the wet & dry ingredients until combined.
Fold in the sugar.
Pour into a greased and parchment lined 9″ x 13″ sheet cake pan.
Bake for 45 minutes & let it cool for 30 mins.
*Frosting
Mix butter, cream cheese & vanilla.
Sift in the Matcha powder & mix until uniform.
Slowly, add the powdered sugar & whip until fully incorporated.
Generously frost on cooled cake.
Top it with aquafaba meringues.
