Matcha Butter Cookies
These light, crispy MATCHA BUTTER COOKIES have a delicate flavor that will melt in your mouth!
Follow this recipe to make a delicious one.

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup of white sugar
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of vanilla
1 egg
2 cups of all purpose flour
2 tbsp of Zen Tea Leaf® Matcha Green Tea Powder
sanding sugar (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F & line 2 baking trays with parchment.
In a bowl, place & beat in the softened butter, sugar & salt until light and fluffy.
Add & beat in vanilla & egg for another minute.
In another bowl, whisk in the flour & matcha powder until combine.
Then gradually add & mix in the flour until dough is thick and combined.
Scoop cooking dough into the piping bag and pipe small heart shapes or circles onto the trays.
Dust with sanding sugar if you wish.
Bake for 12 minutes & let it cool.
