Matcha Mochi Toast

INGREDIENTS:
2 slices of buttermilk bread
1/4 cup of sweet glutinous flour
2 tbsp of hot water or milk
pinch of salt
handful of chopped roasted almonds
Matcha Milk Tea jam
*Matcha Milk Tea jam
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup of heavy cream
1/4 cup of sweetened condensed milk
3 tbsp of sugar
1/4 cup of Zen Tea Leaf® Matcha Green Tea Powder
Instructions:
*Making matcha jam
In a small pot add milk, cream, condensed milk & sugar.
Simmer on medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring from time to time.
Add & sift in matcha powder into the pot and whisk vigorously to incorporate
Simmer for another 15 minutes until pretty darn thick.
Pour into a glass jar and let it cool before putting a lid on it. Keep in fridge.
*Assemble
In a small bowl, mix sweet glutinous flour & salt with hot water.
Then form it into a ball & roll into a slice of bread
Heat a small fry pan with a little bit of oil.
Add your mochi square onto the pan and fry on medium heat for 2 minutes each side
Spread matcha jam onto a piece of toast.
Sprinkle chopped almonds over it & place another piece on top.
