Gluten-Free Matcha Waffles
Make these amazing GLUTEN-FREE MATCHA WAFFLES that are absolutely perfect for a breakfast treat!
🍴 RECIPE 🍴
INGREDIENTS:
*Dry
2 cups of gluten-free flour
2 tsp of baking powder
1/2 tsp of baking soda
2.5 tsp of Zen Tea Leaf® Matcha Green Tea Powder
*Wet
2 large eggs
1/4 cup of honey
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1.25 cups of unsweetened almond milk*
2 tbsp of melted coconut oil
Instructions:
Preheat your waffle maker to medium heat.
In a medium bowl, add & whisk in dry ingredients into a medium bowl until combined.
In a separate large bowl, whisk in two large eggs.
Add & mix in the rest of the wet ingredients (minus the coconut oil).
Slowly add & mix in dry ingredients to wet until combined.
Finally add & mix in melted coconut oil until smooth.
Scoop batter onto waffle maker & cook for about 2 minutes. Repeat process.
Top waffle with your favorite coconut whipped cream & maple syrup.
