INGREDIENTS
*Baked Matcha Donuts
2 Cups of All Purpose Flour
3 tbsp of Zen Tea Leaf® Matcha Green Tea Powder
1 Cup of Granulated Sugar
2 Eggs
1/3 Cup of Vegetable Oil
2 tbsp of Unsalted Butter
2/3 Cup of Milk
1/2 Cup of Sour Cream
1 1/2 tsp of Baking Powder
1/4 tsp of Baking Soda
2 tsp of Vanilla Extract
1 tsp of Salt
*Optional Vanilla Glaze
1 1/2 Cup of Confectionary Sugar
2 tbsp of Milk
2 tsp of Vanilla Extract
*Optional Matcha Glaze
1 1/2 Cup of Confectionary Sugar
2 tbsp of Milk
2 tsp of Vanilla Extract
3 tbsp of Zen Tea Leaf® Matcha Green Tea Powder
Instructions:
*Baked Matcha Donuts
1. Preheat oven to 350F and grease a donut pan.
2. Melt butter and add to a large bowl along with vegetable oil and sugar and mix.
3. Then add sour cream, milk and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
4. Next sift in flour, matcha, baking powder, baking soda and salt into the bowl and mix again.
5. Then add in eggs on by one and mix one last time before pouring batter in donut tin.
6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until done!
*Glaze
7. Make glaze by whisking ingredients in a bowl together.
8. Dip the baked Matcha donuts in the glaze
9. SERVE & ENJOY!
