🍴⁠ RECIPE 🍴⁠
INGREDIENTS:⁠
For the Biscotti⁠
1/2 cup of vegetable oil⁠
3 large eggs⁠
1 cup of granulated sugar⁠
3 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour⁠
1 tbsp of baking powder⁠
Pinch salt⁠

For the Matcha Glaze⁠
1 1/2 tsp of Zen Tea Leaf® Matcha Green Tea Powder⁠
3 tbsp of hot water⁠
2 tsp of corn syrup⁠
1 3/4 cups of sifted powdered sugar⁠


Instructions:⁠
*Biscotti⁠
Preheat oven to 375 °F.⁠
Line a 13x9" baking sheets with parchment paper.⁠
In a bowl, whisk in the oil, eggs & sugar.⁠
In a separate bowl, whisk in the flour, baking powder & salt.⁠
Pour the flour mixture into the oil mixture & stir until just combined.⁠
Pick up the dough & roll it into a ball & place it on the lined cookie sheet.⁠
Bake for 30 mins until the dough is lightly browned & let it cool for 10 mins.⁠
Slice the dough into ½ slices. & place it back on the cookie sheets.⁠
Bake it for another 10 mins per side, until golden brown around the edges then set aside & let it cool.⁠

*Glaze⁠
In a bowl, whisk in the matcha powder & hot water until entirely combined.⁠
Stir in the corn syrup, followed by the sifted powdered sugar.⁠
Let it cool and thicken.⁠
Drizzle the glaze over cooled biscotti, or dunk the cookies right into the glaze.⁠
Let it stand for 15 mins to allow the glaze to harden.⁠
