Matcha Cheesecake Brownies
These small-batch MATCHA CHEESECAKE BROWNIES are marbled with sweet and rich cream cheese that adds an earthy flavor of Matcha.

INGREDIENTS
1 large whole egg
50 g of melted unsalted butter
50 g of granulated sugar
2 teaspoon of Zen Tea Leaf® Matcha Green Tea Powder
½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
pinch of sea salt
50 g of all-purpose flour
Cheesecake filling:
85 g of cream cheese softened at room temperature
20 g of granulated sugar
½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 egg yolk
Instructions:
*Make the matcha brownie batter*
1. Preheat oven to 350°F/177°C.
2. In a bowl, whisk the egg, oil, sugar, Zen Tea Leaf® Matcha Green Tea Powder, vanilla & salt.
3. Fold the flour into the egg mixture. Set aside.
*Make cheesecake filling*
4. In a stand mixer bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla & egg yolk until smooth.
*Assemble*
5. Scoop the batter into the pan. Spread and set aside 2 tablespoons of batter for the top.
6. Add the cheesecake filling on top of the batter.
7. Scrape the remaining batter over top of the filling.
8. Create a swirl through the mixture.
9. Tap the pan twice and bake at 350°F/177°C for 25-28 mins.
10. Remove from the oven and cool on a cooling rack.
11. Dust with additional Zen Tea Leaf® Matcha Green Tea Powder.
